Nice job! I think if they added more flair or flexibility to the model, it can work. Lots of renders for Sonic Adventure and SA2 pull it off in my opinion. However, clean art nonetheless.

Love this! Very much reminiscent of the 90s japanese box art, specifically Sonic Jam in my opinion. Love the colors!
